YBOTECH BOD-573 BOD Analyzer is a kind of environmental pollution index, which is mainly used to determine the pollution status of organic matter in water body; it can also be used as a basis to evaluate the operation efficiency of sewage treatment plant, so as to find the right treatment method.
The method is based on pressure measurement in a closed system: microorganisms in the sample consume the oxygen and form CO2. This is absorbed by NaOH, creating a vacuum, which can be read directly as a measured value in mg/l BOD.

- BOD measurement ranges of up to 4,000 mg/l can be measured using different sample volumes.
